The course is part of the
activities of MedWet (Mediterranean Initiatives of Ramsar Wetlands
Convention-Iran, 1971) which counts the creation of an inventory of
wetlands in the Mediterranean. It is designed to train technicians
to develop the Italian contribution to the PMWI (Pan Mediterranean
Wetland Inventory).
The initiative is addressed to technicians of the system of
environmental agencies, of the Regional Administrations, of
protected fluvial and coastal marine environments and of other
scientific bodies, responsible for the managing and monitoring
activities related to these areas.
