The annual meeting, reserved to professionals, aims to update
the results of the joint work of ISPRA and ARPA, referred to the
monitoring, management and knowledge of the blooming of potentially
toxic microalgae penomenon.
The following topics will be addressed: the first results of the
evaluation projects of the phenomenon of transfer of microalgae and
their bio-toxin in the marine aerosol. During the first day a
meeting will take place to update the research program: "Ostreopsis
ovata and Ostreopsis spp: new risks from toxic microalgae in the
Italian seas", an initiative coordinated by the Ministry of the
Enviromnent, Land and Sea and ISPRA.
