Rome, March 6, Ispra, Sala Fazzini, via Curtatone 3
The UV rays or ultraviolet radiation, especially the UVA component which is not absorbed from the atmosphere, are a factor of concern for health problems. Today the attention to this problem is greater, because the levels of UV rays that reach the earth's surface are increasing and this may lead to consequences, even serious for the human body: from reddening, early aging of the skin, to erythema, up to melanoma.
The day of the culture environment will provide an introduction to technical and scientific issues related to ultraviolet radiation through the presentation of studies and research, strategies for public information, and through the presentation of experiences of control and environmental monitoring. In the course of the day will be also presented the first results of the National UV Working Group.
