The commitment of ISPRA in the conservation of ungulates

Workshop

Rome, 13 April, ISPRA headquarters, via Curtatone 7 Since several years the populations of wild ungulates are growing, both in the extention of the area of distribution, both in the stocks. The improvement of the conservation status of these species is a positive result, in that it increases the biodiversity of the mountain and hill areas and the availability of prey species for large carnivores and threatened scavengers and allows the usability of the territory by different social groups (nature observation and hunting).
