Introduction to the use of predictive models for the assessment of levels of electromagnetic fields

Training Course

Rome, 9 November 2011 - ISPRA headquarters - via Brancati, 48 (Conference Hall) The use of predictive models to assess the levels of electromagnetic fields generated by various sources in the area is the basis of the authorization processes involving both new installations or substantial modification of existing plants, and the monitoring and verification of compliance with the limitations imposed by the national legislation in force. There are several simulation software currently used by ISPRA-ARPA/APPA, both for low and high frequencies, as provided by the technical legislation (Italian Standards CEI 211-4, CEI 211-6, CEI 211-7, CEI 211-10 and CEI 106-11).

The introductory course provides the basic elements related to the forecast models routinely used by the agency system for the main sources of electromagnetic fields (electric lines and substations, radio, tv and radio base stations for mobile telephony). It is expected the analysis of complex cases for both low and high frequencies. The initiative is aimed at training a maximum of 60 participants and is aimed at engineers working in the public administration and regional and provincial agencies for environmental protection (ARPA / APPA).

Partecipation to the course is free upon completing a questionnaire to be returned to the following email address formazione@isprambiente.it
