The presence on the Italian territory of a substantial part of the  historical-artistic heritage world must make Italy particularly sensitive to the development of strategies in the field of preventive conservation and support of studies and scientific research aimed to ensure the best possible optimal storage conditions.

In this context   ISPRA and the Institute for Conservation and Restoration, signed over 15 years ago a collaboration agreement to share knowledge and data to improve information about the impact of the environment on the cultural  heritage and to implement the information on the interaction between artwork and the territory in which they are located, in order to plan of maintenance or restoration the activities

The results of this cooperation and future projecst will be presented during the Conference next 3 march at Rome
