On December 20, at the Botanical Garden of Rome, there will be a press conference and a seminar on the restoration, management and enhancement of Mediterranean coastal ecosystems. Restoring the quality of Mediterranean coastal ecosystems is the key objective of a demonstration project funded by the European Commission, called PRIME. The event will allow the representatives of the project to present the innovative solutions that will be developed within LIFE PRIMED to contrast the decline of the coastal natural environments and the flood plains of the Mediterranean basin, which today are fragile but surprising reservoirs of biodiversity. Furthermore, it will realize a space for reflection and exchange of knowledge and experience on the practices of disseminating this conservationist approach in other coastal areas of the Mediterranean. At the meeting will partecipate an Ispra expert.
