Prevention, surveillance, monitoring and environmental control on the whole National territory

Control, surveillance, monitoring and survey, inspections, professional training, information, communication and data exchanges concerning all the environmental topics such as waste cycle , biodiversity protection, protected marine areas, contaminated sites, forest and agriculture using satellite data. These are the main contents of the Memorandum of Understanding signed today in Roma, at the General Command of the Arma dei Carabinieri, by the General Commander Tullio Del Sette and the President of ISPRA Stefano Laporta.

First meeting of the National Council SNPA with the new General Director of ISPRA

It was held the first meeting of the 2018 of the National Council SNPA, with the new general director ISPRA Alessandro Bratti. Catalogue of LEPTA (Essential Levels of Environmental Technical Performance), Triennial Plan of the System, Memorandum of Understanding with the General Command of Arma dei Carabinieri are just some of the many topics faced. The Director of the Consulta of ISIN - Nuclear Safety Inspectorate and Radioprotection, recently nominated, was also presented at the environmental agencies.

Meeting President and General Director ISPRA with Minister Galletti

Last 17 January, at the Ministry of Environment headquarter, it was held the meeting between the President and the General Director of Ispra, the General Directors of the Ministry, the General secretariat, at the presence of the ISPRA council board member Miriam Lanza and Minister of Environment Gian Luca Galletti.The meeting, also an opportunity to present the new General Director Alessandro Bratti, it was useful to start a cooperation between Ispra and the Ministry more effective and efficient. President Laporta presented the strategic guidelines approved by the council board of the Institute, underlining how the mandate of Ispra is to provide a qualified support to the Ministry, in the respect of the Institute's technical and scientific autonomy.
