Ispra and Fao, an agreemento to promote suistainable agriculture

Last 10 July, ISPRA joined the collaboration between FAO and the three main Italian research centers - the National Research Council (CNR), the Council for Agricultural Research and the Analysis of Agricultural Economics (CREA) and the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) - with the aim to promote sustainable food production and nutrition in developing countries. With this agreement, Italy can give an even more important contribution to the FAO to transform agricultural and food systems and find innovative solutions to make them sustainable. The work of ISPRA will strengthen national environmental protection in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Land the Sea, the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, and the Ministry of Education, University and Research .
