Presence of Cesium-137 in wild boar in Valsesia

With regard to the detection of abnormal radioactivity concentrations of cesium 137 in wild boar in Valsesia, has to be considered that as a result of nuclear tests in the atmosphere in the past and the accident occurred at the Chernobyl plant in 1986, it is possible to detect the presence of cesium 137. It’s important to underline that these abnormal concentrations of cesium-137 in wild animals can be linked in particular to the radioactive fallout of that incident that in some areas, have produced higher concentrations of the cesium-137 in the environment and in plants that are the habitat where the wild boars usually live.
