Drops of civilization in a plastic ocean
ISPRA researchers explain to the little interviewer what happens to the plastic when it ends up in the sea, the consequences on the natural environment and what kind of work the marine biologist does. Waste of all types, colors, shapes and sizes and the new environmental emergency: the "marine litter". The plastic is the topic of environmental education project ISPRA , the undisputed queen of the most found waste at sea and on our shores. Specifically, the proposed topics will cover the history and the effects produced by the material that most revolutionized man's life and way of thinking: brief notes on the production cycle and a detailed excursus on the main sources of plastic pollution that slowly , but inexorably, they are suffocating seas and oceans.
