Egyptian vultures released in Basilicata in the summer of 2019 to support the endangered species

Between the end of July and mid-August 2019, eight young Egyptian vultures were released in Basilicata, in the Murgia Materana Regional Natural Park, in two different release operations carried out by the CERM Center Rapaci Minacciati Association and by ISPRA with the aim to support the Italian population of this species, reduced to the minimum terms.
