The Island of Sustainability is a national project, which numerous institutions, Research centre, Companies and Associations contribute, promoting the values ​​and contents of sustainable development in the environmental, economic and social fields, aimed mainly at young people, but also for families and technical operators of the sector. ISPRA, which has already participated in previous editions, from this year is also part of the Strategic Committee, together with ENEA, CNR, CREA, La Sapienza and Roma 3 Universities and many other actors.

From December 5 to 7, the final event of the 2018 edition will be held, entitled "Climate change: sustainability explained to the kids", with reference to climate change, objective 13 of the Sustainable Development Strategy - Agenda 2030.

ISPRA with its experts will be present in the three-day program with the proposal of three educational workshops for schools and two talks, scientific conversations open to the public. Admission to the initiative is free.
