The conference aims to disseminate the activities carried out in recent years by the Lazio Region on the protection and enhancement of the geological heritage. Among the topics covered there will be the new CARG sheets , the recently established Geological Natural Monuments, the findings of dinosaur footprints in various locations in Lazio, the census of sites in the geological memory and some study and promotion activities tourism in the regional protected areas, with particular regard to the Parco dei Monti Simbruini and the Parco dei Castelli Romani.
At the meeting an Ispra expert will participate.
