Ecological networks, greening and green infrastructure in territorial and landscape planning

 

Technical-scientific magazine published online on ISPRA website under Publications - Technical Periodicals

 

RETICULA - meaning in Latin “small network”, “small mesh” - was founded in 2012 as the newsletter of the Ecological Network and Green Infrastructure National Working Group, with the aim to disseminate news related to ecological connectivity, design practices and management tools, as well as to promote synergies between the expertise of the academic world and the planning procedures that involve both public bodies and professionals.

The magazine is addressed to representatives of central and local government, of Regional Agencies for Environmental Protection, of academia and professional world, as a platform for information exchange among all the professionals whose work deals with the issues of ecological connectivity, of green infrastructure, ecosystem services, environmental governance connected to an eco-sensitive land planning and landscape, as well as greening, new key word of the 2014-2020 European Union policies.

At present RETICULA counts more than hundreds of subscriptions and is continuously growving . It has become an online technical-scientific magazine whichaims to play a reference role  at national  level.

The magazine is published three times a year and provides, for each year, two generalissues and a monographic issue. The topic of 2013 monographic issue has been “Climate change, widespread nature and territorial planning”, while for  2014 one it is “ Conservative management of land and planning and the proposed theme for 2015 is Integrated planning for marine-coastal strip "

Members of the magazine’s Scientific Committee  are  Corrado Battisti (Province of Rome), José Fariña Tojo (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid), Sergio Malcevschi (University of Pavia), Patrizia Menegoni (ENEA), Riccardo Santolini (University of Urbino).

Members of the Editorial Board  are Matteo Guccione (ISPRA), Serena D'Ambrogi (ISPRA), Michela Gori (ISPRA), Luisa Nazzini (ISPRA),  Tiziana Pacione (ISPRA).
