How to obtain the Geopark status

In the case of Europe, and Italy also, the requests of candidature to obtain the ‘Geopark’ status under the UNESCO auspices - being consequently included in the GGN -  has to be sent through a specific form (following the instructions www.europeangeoparks.org ), together with specific documentation, to be sent to the coordination unit:
