Contribution to the knowledge of historical mycological diversity in Italy

Contribution to the knowledge of historical mycological diversity in Italy. Alphabetic collection of fact sheets of the Herbarium mycologicum of the Natural History Museum in Venice. From Callistosporium donadinii (Bon) Contu to Clitocybula lacerata (Scop.).

This is the 2nd Manual "Contribution to the knowledge of historical mycological diversity in Italy. Alphabetic collection of fact sheets of the Herbarium mycologicum of the Natural History Museum in Venice": it collects in alphabetical order the historical cards relating to species from Callistosporium donadinii (Bon) Contu to Clitocybula lacerata (Scop.).

Mushrooms are good indicators used in the study and monitoring of environmental biodiversity.

Since 1987, at the Museum of Natural History in Venice, more than 29,000 artefacts have been deposited: data contained in the cards provide useful information on the mycological species typical of different habitats, including species worthy of protection and those that, thanks to their characteristics, can be used as bio-indicators.
