Critical issues in the accreditation process of ecotoxicological assays
The increasing level of internationalization of European standards and directives increasingly constrains the implementation of them and data transfer to the accreditation procedures, mainly in agreement with UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2005. However, although these procedures are well defined in the field of chemistry, nothing is currently available for ecotoxicological tests. This volume, continuing the series "The handbooks of Ecotoxicology", is a first attempt to deal with this issue and is addressed to professionals working in laboratories of analysis and researchers of the public and private sectors, providing useful information to apply for accreditation of ecotoxicological assays. This manual is thus open to the contributions of the scientific community and ARPA, as well as of all public and private laboratories. Thus, suggestions (or amendments) of the manual are welcome by e-mail at the address ecotossicologia@isprambiente.it.
