Guidelines on information, assistance and controls to EMAS registered organizations or applying for

This guideline provides an overview of tools adopted by SNPA to provide information and assistance to organizations about legal compliance, as required by Article 32 of Regulation 1221/2009. Particular attention is devoted to information provided by means of websites.

In this case a list of parameters for assessing the effectiveness of information through web and related requirements are reported. Furthermore, the guidelines provide guidance for the application of art. 38 of Regulation 1221/2009, in particular as far as the use of EMAS "as a tool in the application and for monitoring compliance with the law" is concerned, limited to non-industrial EMAS registered organizations.
