Information office (URP)

The functions of the Information office (URP) are carried out by the DIR URP Service of ISPRA, which was created to provide information about the services offered to the public.

• it provided information about the structure of the Institute, the activities, products and services offered by the Institute;
• it enables to access administrative documents and environmental information;
• it collects reports about problems and inefficiency or suggestions to improve the quality of ISPRA’s services;
• it provides information about the main regulations concerning environmental communication and information.

The person responsible of the procedure for access to environmental information is the Manager of the Information office (URP) or the Manager of the unit to which the request was submitted directly (Art. 17 of the Regulations).

The person responsible of the procedure for access to administrative documents is the Director or the officer or another employee assigned to the organizational unit or another employee responsible of the realization of the document or of holding it in place (Art. 3 of the Regulations).

The assertion of the right of civic access, introduced by art. 5 of Legislative Decree 33/2013, relates to the information and documents for
which there is an obligation of publication on ISPRA's official website.
Requests are not subject to any limitation as to the legitimacy of the
subject concerned, it must not be substantiated and is free of charge. Any indication in this regard should be addressed to the ISPRA's Head of Transparency, by writing to: accesso.civico@isprambiente.it.
