The Guarantee Unique Committee of ISPRA celebrates the 25th November, the International Day to eliminate violence against women proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations, with a morning of reflection on the topic.

The event,  accompanied by a reading course attended will include the intervention of writer Tea Ranno, Fabrizio D'Alessandri - founder of the Leggo Literature Contemporary Group, of Laura Moschini - University of Rome Tre, GIO - Interuniversity Observatory for Gender Studies and by Matteo Villanova, Roma Tre University, OLTREEE - Observatory Laboratory for the Protection of Emotional and Evolutive Age.

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October, with the Terminillo stage, it restart the cycling tour around Lazio region.

On 6 October, with two routes at the same time: a spectacular and challenging 40 km itinerary between the Reatini Mountains, which also includes stretches of land in the woods; or 22 km on asphalt from the Sella di Leonessa to the Val Leonina, a simpler ride, but equally interesting for nature and landscapes. On 7 October, however, 15 km of scenic route and quite challenging in Pian de Valli, at the foot of Terminillo; the second route is suitable for everyone and from Pian de Valli leads to Cittaducale, for 25 km downhill.

The new package of EU waste directives is strongly based on the principles of the circular economy and introduces tools to achieve this goal, including the reduction by 2035 of the amount of urban waste landfilled to 10%, or a lower percentage , of the total urban waste produced.

The Conference has as its objective a preliminary assessment of the possible consequences of the new EU legislative package on the Italian system (Public Administration, sector operators, citizens, etc.) in terms of both opportunities and problems.

The Report updates the national maps of the landslide hazard of the River Basin Plans - PAI and of the hydraulic hazard according to the Scenarios of Legislative Decree 49/2010 (implementation of the 2007/60/EC Floods Directive), realized by ISPRA through the harmonization and the mosaic of the hazard zones mapped by the District Basin Authorities.

The third stage of the LIFE SEPOSSO project was the island of Ischia (NA). From 17t to 21 September, numerous dives have verified the conditions of Posidonia oceanica transplant, carried out in Ischia Porto in "Punta San Pietro" between 2008 and 2009, as a measure to compensate the impact deriving from the trench excavation. for the arrival of the Bacoli-Ischia gas pipeline, where 50,000 Posidonia cuttings were originally installed on sea surface of about 1600 square meters.
