Soil and Biodiversity: Opportunities for the new Millenium

National seminar

Studying the key issue of soil biodiversity, soil science gives its contribution to deepen and promote its role in the national scientific and professional fields. At the beginning of this new year 2010, designated by the UN as "International Year of Biodiversity", we intend to underline the importance and potential of soil biodiversity, which represents its richest and most useful component.
The seminar is addressed to professionals and researchers operating on soils. It aims to promote a network for monitoring soil biodiversity and to collect a decalogue of good practices for soil sustainable management.
