Pilot project to combat desertification in the five Italian regions most at risk

Sardinia region

During the conference it will be presented the methodology and the results achieved by the three objectives of the project concerning the map of the areas susceptible to desertification in Sardinia at a scale 1:100,000, a pilot study on the degradation of water resources for nitrate pollution of the river basin and an example of revegetation and remediation of contaminated sites.
