IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material

This volume is the Italian translation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) publication “Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material” 2005 edition. The IAEA Regulations contain the provisions and establish the requirements to guarantee the safe transport of radioactive material. It represents the reference text, for radioactive material, of all the international Regulations (ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG Code and ICAO TI) that regulate the transport of dangerous goods for all modes of transport (land, sea and air). These Regulations are implemented, into the national legislative framework, by specific acts for each mode of transport. This publication intends to offer an easy and prompt tool of consultation both for operators and for public administrations involved in the transport of radioactive material.
