National-wide 3D elaborations

Together with the detailed 3D models, some national-wide 3D elaborations has been realized. They give the first 3D imagery of the crustal and subcrustal-scale structure for the Italian region.
The 3D models will be available through the Internet in a more interactive way (this stage is currently in preparation).

	Surfaces representing the Moho discontinuity (Adriatic Moho – mesh, European + Tyrrhenian – triangulated); they derive from the interpolation of isobath map and constraints from interpreted CROP seismic profiles. White and yellow derricks highlight respectively the position of the deep wells for the hydrocarbon exploration (Italian Economic Development Ministry) and of the wells from the Deep Sea Drilling/Ocean Drilling Project.
