The climate in the italian regional capital
Recent decades have been characterized by unprecedented positive temperature anomalies at the global, European, and national scales. In addition to a significant rise in average temperatures, there is clear evidence of an increase in the frequency, duration, and intensity of extreme events. Urban environments exhibit heightened vulnerability to climate-change impacts owing to their high population density, complex built infrastructure and concentration of socio‑economic activities, which collectively amplify exposure and sensitivity to thermal stress, hydrometeorological extremes, and related cascading risks.

Annual report on the sulphur content of heavy fuel oil, gas oil and marine fuels used in 2024
This report presents data relating to sulfur content of heavy fuel oil, diesel fuel, and marine fuels used in Italy in 2024, as required by national legislation (article 298, paragraph 2-bis of Legislative Decree 152/2006).The amounts of different type of fuel examined in this report were determined on the basis of data from operators and inspection authorities. The results of ispection on sulphur content of marine fuels used on board in national territorial seas and sulphur content of fuels in storage facility are also reported.
