The Report on Waste from Economic Activities, now in its twentieth edition, is the result of a complex activity of collection, analysis and processing of data by the National Centre for Waste Circular Economy of ISPRA, with the contribution of regional and provincial Environmental Protection Agencies, that implements a specific task required by article 189, d.lgs. n. 152 of 3th April 2006.

The 2021 Report on Waste from Economic Activities, which presents data relating to the year 2019, is now in its twentieth edition and it’s the result of a complex activity of data collection, analysis and processing by the National Centre for Waste and Circular Economy of ISPRA, with the contribution of regional and provincial Environmental Protection Agencies. It fulfill a specific task required by article 189, D.Lgs. n. 152 of 3th April 2006. The presentation conference, held in the presence of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, represents an opportunity for discussion with the main stakeholders on how the waste management system is reacting to the Covid-19 emergency

Municipal Waste Report - edition 2020

The Edition 2020 of the Municipal Waste Report provides data (reference year 2019) concerning municipal waste generation, separate collection and management at national, regional and provincial level as well as data on import/export of municipal waste. Furthermore, data on packaging waste management, costs of the municipal waste management service and tariff scheme implementation in 2019 are reported.
