DESCRIPTION:Data\, tools and dialogue for sustainable governance   The new
  Directive (EU) 2020/2184 on the quality of water intended for human consu
 mption introduces a holistic approach to water safety which provides for n
 ew models for analyzing and managing the risks of contamination extended f
 rom the natural water cycle to the integrated water cycle . The Directive 
 revolutionizes the existing control system\, with a preventive criterion\,
  based on the analysis of potentially dangerous situations that could occu
 r and introduces new and higher standards on the quality of water intended
  for human consumption.   The event is promoted as part of the  WHOW  (Wat
 er Health Open knowWledge) project\, aimed at creating a European infrastr
 ucture capable of linking environmental and health data. These open data w
 ill be essential for identifying the relationships between the exploitatio
 n of water resources and the spread of diseases.   The meeting is open to 
 researchers\, technicians\, sector operators and anyone interested in the
