DESCRIPTION:The National Conference of Civil Protection Authorities is tak
 ing place this morning\, under the directive of the President of the Counc
 il of Ministers in the framework of the National Civil Protection Week. Th
 e event includes the participation of the President of the Council of Mini
 sters\, Giuseppe Conte\, as a national civil protection authority and hold
 er of the relevant policies. The meeting aims to share and consolidate the
  common strategic lines of civil protection in terms of prevention and com
 bating the consequences of natural disasters\, among all civil protection 
 authorities. "The National System for Environmental  Protectiois is activ
 e on environmental emergencies with controls and monitoring. The protectio
 n of the environment is an activity of civil protection\, aimed at reducin
 g risks and therefore is itself a form of prevention"\, this is what state
 d President Ispra and SNPA\, Stefano Laporta\, who spoke at the conference
 .
