DESCRIPTION:The  COP26 \, 26th Conference of the Parties on Climate Chan
 ge in Glasgow\, ended On November 12\, Italy signed a series of documents
  and commitments: to reach the net emissions goal of zero by 2050\, to cre
 ate at least six green corridors by the middle of this decade\, to increas
 e the clean energy production to accelerate the energy transition\, encour
 age the sustainable agricultural development of forests and other ecosyste
 ms. On the recommendation of the MiTE\, ISPRA experts participated in the 
 work of COP26 in consideration of the role that the Institute plays in the
  preparation of the inventory of greenhouse gas emissions and related skil
 ls. Italy is among the signatory countries of the  Global Methane Pledge  
 whose goal is to reduce methane emissions by 30% by 2030\, compared to 202
 0 levels\, and to improve methodological approaches for estimating the mai
 n emission categories in greenhouse gas inventories.        Further infor
