DESCRIPTION:The Desertification and Drought World Day 2022 will be celebra
 ted in Sassari in the context of the Summer School “SANAI SA TERRA” (i
 n Sardo language: “Healing the soil”) on the environmental contaminati
 on and soil restoration. The event is organized by the Department of Agric
 ultural Sciences and by the Desertification Research Centre (NRD) of the U
 niversity of Sassari\, in Sardinia and is sponsored by the PRIMA foundatio
 n\, by the Italian Society of Agronomy\, the Italian Association of Agricu
 ltural Scientific Societies and Desertnet international. It is addressed t
 o graduate students\, PhD students\, researchers\, agronomists\, and other
  stakeholders will include three sessions.
