  some of the examples before everyone's eyes. Among the anthropic activiti
 es that release greater quantities of greenhouse gases are those resulting
  from the use of fossil fuels. As regards Europe\, it is estimated\, for e
 xample\, that energy processes caused 78% of the EU's total emissions in 2
 015. The types of energy sources and consumption therefore have an enormou
 s impact on the climate.
