New President of the Council of the European Space Agency
Maria Stella Gelmini has been appointed President of the Council of the European Space Agency (ESA).
On November 25 the Italian Minister of Education, Universities and Research, Maria Stella Gelmini has been appointed by acclamation President of the Council of the European Space Agency (ESA). Italy is the third largest contributor of ESA and will hold the presidency until 2011.
