Report of Blue Plan
Challenges and future prospects for sustainable development of the Mediterranean
The Blue Plan (the Regional Activity Center of the Action Plan for
the Mediterranean UNEP) has recently published a report "The
prospects of Blue Plan on Sustainable Development in the
Mediterranean" which aims to raise awareness among policy makers on
environmental challenges and sustainable development of the
Mediterranean region. Despite the many initiatives in the
Mediterranean for environment and sustainable development, the
report reveals an overall framework which is still essentially
critical.
