The Senate approved the article 17 of the law "Development" draft, which provides the establishment of the Agency for Nuclear Safety, that will act as a national authority for the technical regulation, control, authorization aimed at the security, management and transfer of radioactive waste and nuclear materials, at the protection from radiation, and at the supervising on the construction and safeguarding of nuclear plants and materials.
