Italian-Slovenian agreement for prevention nuclear risk

An important agreement has been signed in Trieste between Italy and Slovenia to cooperate for the prevention nuclear risk. Both countries will be involved in exchange information 24 hours/day with the aim to mitigate the effects of eventual accident nuclear.

May 24 The technical agreement for cooperation between Italy and Slovenia to prevent and mitigate accidental nuclear risk was signed by ISPRA, MATTM (Ministry of Environment, Land Protection and Sea) and the Nuclear Safety Administration of Slovenia. The agreement follows the same signed recently with the French Nuclear Agency and take in consideration the inputs of the new National Plan of nuclear emergency, as a efficacy tool to protect the population and environment in case of accident.
