This workshop, organized among others by the
University of Pisa and by the Port Authorities of
Livorno, reports the results of the AGRIPORT project, co-funded by
European Commission and the Italian Ministry for the Environment,
Land and Sea in the frame of 'Eco-innovation’ program,
to support processes and technologies for the environmental
protection.
In the AGRIPORT project have been applied on the harbors sediments
dredged phyto-technologies to remove or transform the different
contaminants, and to desalinate the matrix to transform it into a
soil with characteristics of a fertile soil, and therefore
reusable
