A Boiling sea

17 May. With the publication of "A Boiling Sea" continues the process of recovery of the documentaries realized by ISPRA in the previous years. In the last century the global temperature has risen by 0.7° C. Over the next 100 years, depending on how much greenhouse gas man would enter the atmosphere, the forecasts suggest a further warming, between 1.1 and 6° C.

The whole ice sheet of the Greenland may disappear and the global sea level would rise, in consequence, more than 6 meters. We would return therefore to the landscape of 125 thousand years ago. The documentary presents a journey between continents and oceans of the world to explain the mechanisms of climate change, the consequences and possible solutions.
