Seminar of presentation of the cross-border cooperation project BIODIVALUE

Yesterday, 22 September, on the occasion of the fifty years anniversary of the Maltese independence, was held in Malta in the city of St. Julien a workshop on the results achieved by the project BIODIVALUE - the economic value of biodiversity - in which ISPRA participates through its Scientific Technical Structure of Palermo, as partner and beneficiary.
The project, funded under the International Cooperation Programme Italy-Malta 2007-2013, has as main objective the assessment of the maritime traffic in the Strait of Sicily and Malta. The first results of the first 20 months of activity were presented yesterday as part of the workshop, also attended by the Italian Ambassador to Malta.
