Learn to better protect our oceans and the species: the RAMOGE campaign census of some marine species emblematic of the Mediterranean biodiversity

The International Agreement RAMOGE, which is an instrument of scientific, technical, legal and administrative cooperation with which the French, Italian and Monegasque governement implement actions of integrated coastal management, proposes to divers who have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the waters of the French Region Provence-Alps-Cote d'Azur, the Principality of Monaco and Liguria to collaborate to obtain data on the presence of protected marine species such as the 'Pinna nobilis' ,'Patella ferrugineae' of 'Sciaena umbra'.

For more information on the RAMOGE web site  there are the sheet presentation of the three species and instructions about how to contribute to the initiative, which ISPRA plays an important role

Divers can upload  the information collected on the web  site www.ramoge.org that, before being insterde permanently in the database, will be analyzed by experts of the single species.

Anyone who wants to collaborate in the census can access at the system to collect data directly on the site RAMOGE.
