DESCRIPTION:It is  more than 10 years that ISPRA has been using advanced i
 nstrumentations  that allow an important research activities along the ric
 h deep waters  of the Mediterranean. In  this context\, thank to the R/V A
 strea ship of ISPRA - with a  sophisticated wire-guided robot\, ROV (Remot
 ely Operated Vehicle) capable  of reaching great depths and to take  phot
 os\, movies\, and small samples  of marine organisms- the researchers expe
 rts have explored\, with more  than 50 oceanographic campaigns\, almost 90
 0 dive points\, at depths  between 50 and 400 m\, spread along all the Ita
 lian coastal regions.
