Meeting of Working Group 2 on Waste Management and Decommissioning (WGRWMD) dell’ENSREG

Next 30 October in Paris ISIN will take part in the work of the 34th meeting of the Radioactive Waste and Decommissioning Working Group set up within the ENSREG (European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group), the European Commission advisory group on nuclear safety and the safety of radioactive waste. The group will face the regulatory aspects concerning the safety of radioactive waste management and decommissioning of nuclear installations, and compares the experiences of the various Nuclear Safety Authorities in the field.  In 2017 the Presidency the Working Group was entrusted to Dr. Stefano Laporta, President of ISPRA, who after the start of ISIN continues to perform this function in the role of Coordinator of the Inspectorate Council.
