Together with them, institutional figures from both the secular and religious worlds, as well as representatives of the National System for Environmental Protection, will discuss science and faith, biodiversity and creation. The event will conclude with an all-female round table dedicated to the anthropocentric vision and the limits of the human being.

The conference is the culmination of a broader initiative, The Green Thread for a Sustainable Jubilee, which began last March in the splendid setting of the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi and has traveled across Italy, with events organized by the regional environmental protection agencies (Arpa) in collaboration with local dioceses.
