Alongside technological developments, the scientific debate will focus on ecological and management aspects: from movement ecology and habitat connectivity, to seabird conservation, and the analysis of the traditionally less studied non-reproductive stages of bird life. Particular attention will be paid to national monitoring projects, the assessment of invasive alien species, the role of the ornithological community in implementing the Nature Restoration Law, as well as citizen science tools and urban ornithological atlases as tools to support environmental policies.

ISPRA researchers will join the conference
