DESCRIPTION:Large infrastructures such as wind farms and airports have a s
 ignificant impact on biodiversity and the environment. In the design of su
 ch facilities\, it is often overlooked that wind and air are a resource sh
 ared by birds. Wind turbines in areas frequented by migratory birds or loc
 al species\, or aircraft turbines can cause collisions\, generating "confl
 icts" between birds and facilities that are difficult to resolve. During t
 he seminar\, experiences and case studies will be discussed\, exploring me
 thods to assess and reduce the risk of collisions\, sharing planning appro
 aches with institutions and energy producers.
