  the mining sector in light of the new EU Regulation 2024/1252 and Decree-
 Law 84/2024\, which establish the updated procedures for mining projects o
 f national strategic interest.   Experts from academia\, industry\, and pu
 blic institutions will discuss European mining autonomy\, the valorization
  of national resources\, environmental sustainability\, social acceptabili
 ty\, and industrial circularity through the recovery of mining waste.
