DESCRIPTION:The course\, organized by the   Emilia-Romagna Region – Prot
 ected Areas\, Forests and Mountain Areas Development Department   as part 
 of the European   LIFE NatConnect2030   project\, is aimed at technical an
 d administrative staff of public authorities\, managers of protected areas
  and Natura 2000 sites\, environmental professionals and consultants\, and
  researchers.     The initiative will explore the application of the   App
 ropriate Assessment (AA)   procedure to wind energy projects\, biodiversit
 y monitoring\, and the role of   Nature-Based Solutions (NbS)   in the des
 ign and management of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems. Particular atte
 ntion will be given to ecosystem conservation and the protection of the   
 Natura 2000   network.
