 nniversary of the 2009 flood that killed 37 people in Giampilieri\, Scalet
 ta\, and neighboring communities. The initiative will provide an opportuni
 ty for discussion between local governments\, research institutions\, and 
 professionals engaged in studying climate change and managing the resultin
 g risks. Specifically\, weather forecasts and climate analysis methodologi
 es will be discussed\, with an approach that extends from the national fra
 mework to the local context\, where the memory of the 2009 flood remains a
  constant reminder.
