DESCRIPTION:The National Award for Environmental and Territorial Protectio
 n was presented today to ISPRA as part of the RemTech event.   Now in its 
 sixth edition\, the  National Award promoted by the Italian Society of Env
 ironmental Geology (SIGEA-APS)  recognizes commitment to protecting the na
 tural and human-altered environment\, responsible land management\, and th
 e mitigation of natural hazards. This year\, the award was presented to Ma
 ria Teresa Lettieri\, Head of ISPRA’s Structural and Marine Geology Serv
 ice\, and Felice Vito Uricchio\, Research Director at the National Researc
 h Council (CNR).
