The conference on October 17th will be a meeting place where Italian and international experts will discuss the effects of lead in hunting ammunition, investigating and illustrating its consequences for both wildlife and human health. This will also help promote and enhance the scientific, environmental, social, cultural, and tourism profile of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
The following day, October 18th, two guided tours will be offered: one to the Cornino Lake Regional Nature Reserve, where there is a feeding station for scavenger birds, and the other to the exhibition "Poison after the Shot," promoted by the Julian Prealps Natural Park and held at Palazzo Orgnani Martina in Venzone (UD).
Alessandro Andreotti, a researcher at ISPRA, is expected to participate.
